Littlefoot is a 15 minute 3D animated short from Imoria Pictures.  a deeply emotional re-imagining of a timeless story about love, loss, and the unbreakable bond between a mother and child. At its heart, the film explores grief not as an ending, but as a transformation. It is about how love reshapes us, guides us, and stays with us long after someone is gone.

Through Littlefoot’s journey, the story reflects a universal truth: family is not only who we are born to, but who we find along the way. In a world that can feel uncertain and overwhelming, the film is a reminder that connection, memory, and love never truly disappear. They evolve. They echo. They carry us forward.

The film is inspired by the emotional legacy of the original story of "The Land Before Time" while bringing a modern, grounded emotional depth that speaks to audiences who have loved, lost, and learned to keep going anyway.

Why are we doing this

We grew up with stories that made us believe in something bigger than ourselves. Littlefoot isn’t just a film — it’s a statement about why those stories still matter. In a time where everything feels digital, fast, and forgettable, we wanted to slow things down and remind audiences what it feels like to wonder again.

Our goal is to bring the same heart and emotion that inspired us as kids;  the kind of storytelling that made us pick up a camera in the first place. We’re not doing this for profit or nostalgia alone; we’re doing it because stories like these deserve to be felt again, crafted with care, and shared freely. It’s about honouring the films that shaped us while proving that independent creators can still make something cinematic, powerful, and timeless.

Where are we at?

We’re now deep in the animation phase bringing every scene to life frame by frame. The environments are built, the characters are fully rigged, and our animation team is working tirelessly to capture every emotion and movement that makes Littlefoot feel alive. It’s the most exciting stage yet, where all the story, art, and sound begin to merge into one world.
